Quinta das Arcas is a family-owned winery with a rich history spanning over 40 years, dedicated to the production of Vinho Verde and Alentejo wines. Our journey began with a passion for viticulture, and today, we proudly manage 280 hectares of vineyards in the Vinho Verde region and 200 hectares at Herdade Penedo Gordo in Alentejo. Located just 20 minutes from Porto, our estate is the closest on the Rota dos Vinhos Verdes, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore our beautiful vineyards. At Quinta das Arcas, our primary focus is on producing exceptional Vinho Verde, offering a diverse selection of more than 10 different wines across three distinct brands. Our vineyards in the Vinho Verde region yield a variety of wines, including white, red, rosé, and even organic sparkling wines. Beyond Vinho Verde, we also cultivate 200 hectares of vineyards in the Alentejo region at Herdade Penedo Gordo, where we produce a range of Alentejo wines—white, red, rosé—as well as a distinctive liqueur wine.
