Tenuta La Pergola

Located in Cisterna d'Asti, near Alba, it is at the junction of three generous territories: Monferrato, Langhe and Roero, which have always been the three most prestigious wine areas in Piedmont such as to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For this, its strategic importance is ancient history. The castle of the city was born as a fortress in the Middle Ages, then it softens becoming an elegant residence, today it dominates the vineyards as a careful guardian, almost as a custody and protection of their grapes and of those who with love and wisdom transform them into precious wines. The Museum of Arts and Crafts of yesteryear is the precious frame, if not the noble residence itself, in whose halls and cellars the peasant equipment of the '600 served to recreate ancient artisan shops. In Cisterna d'Asti culture and tradition still make history today: it is no coincidence that the wines of Tenuta La Pergola are born here.

The estate extends over 25 hectares of hills with a DOC and DOCG quality production, expression of the territory of origin. While maintaining the family tradition, our reality has tried to invest in eco-sustainable alternative energies, to maintain the integrity of our territory. On top of the vineyards stands the ancient Ciabòt, the old shelter for agricultural tools. A little further down there is the Cellar with the typical restaurant, a multi-purpose tennis and soccer field, and a view of the vineyard that is unique in its kind, as well as enhanced by various other activities. The large car park comfortably accommodates more than one coach, with reception available in multiple languages: Italian, English, French, German, Chinese, Russian and Japanese (interpreters to be booked).
