About Winery and Wines
Tenuta la Pineta is a vibrant boutique farm, located on the Chianti hills of Arezzo (Tuscany). The 9-hectare vineyard hosts multiple autochthonous grape varieties and a small percentage of international grapes which give birth to exciting blends and niche monovarietal wines.
At La Pineta, tradition and technology meet each other to maximize the complexity and richness of each vintage. All bottling is rigorously done at the estate.
The Scortecci family runs the Tenuta with passion and manages private visits to the winery, so that each wine lover may get in touch with the winemaking philosophy and understand the attention to detail dedicated to all products.
Chianti DOCG Sasso Bisciaio
Sasso Bisciaio is a Chianti blend of Sangiovese (90%) and Canaiolo (10%): this wine is well-balanced, easy to drink, and playfully fresh.
Chianti Superiore DOCG Il Guido
Chianti Superiore Il Guido is our flagship label: Guido is a complex, long-aging blend of Sangiovese (90%), Canaiolo (5%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%), dedicated to the memory of our winemaking grandfather Guido Scortecci.
IGT Toscana M.N.
M.N. is a monovarietal Malvasia Nera: this grape used to be a complementary of Sangiovese, and few producers bottle it as a single variety.
IGT Toscana Canaiolo
Canaiolo is the award-winning, more delicate sibling of M.N.: another single-variety label, less structured but more elegant than the previous one.
IGT Toscana Rosato Persimo
Persimo is our pink Sangiovese: this wine is fresh, fruity, and very pleasant during the summer.
