From the property it is possible to enjoy a breathtaking view of Siena, the famous medieval city that is only 5 km away. The grounds reach out for 140 hectares, 19 of which are planted with vineyards and 12 with olive trees , while the remaining area is dedicated to wheat and crops and is surrounded by woods. The soil is extraordinarily rich and has unique characteristics thanks to the peculiar mix of the fertile Chianti soil and clay. The estate includes several houses, some of which built in the 17th Century, which benefit from the spellbinding view of the Tuscan hills, making them the perfect location to relax in an atmosphere where nature and history are a good match. Every year our 1800 olive trees allow us to produce the finest extra virgin olive oil through the traditional “mechanical cold pressing” technique. From the estate you can visit in a day the major cultural spots of Tuscany: Florence (75 km), Arezzo (67 km), San Gimignano (45 km), Rapolano (29 km), the beaches of Maremma (100 km ), the UNESCO site of the Val d’Orcia (50 km) and Monte Amiata. The estate is 3 km from the famous cycling route of the “Eroica” and in the heart of the Chianti Classico wine and food (10km) and Montalcino (40 km).
