La Tenuta le Velette è un'azienda a conduzione famigliare che si tramanda questa tradizione dalla fine del diciannovenismo secolo, quando nel 1877 i fratelli Sante e Luigi Felici decisero di acquistare la tenuta. In vista della rupe di Orvieto, l'azienda si trova su terreni esclusivamente di origine vulcanica su cui coltiva circa 100 ettari di vigneti e circa 4000 piante di olivi.

Vivendo  un'esperienza alla Tenuta le Velette è possibile toccare con mano tutta la storia di questo posto stupendo e la passione delle persone che lo hanno vissuto. Le grotte di tufo scavate a mano, le cisterne in cemento, i tigli secolari, i vecchi viali, la barricaia di origine etrusca  sono tutti elementi che ti permottono di immergerti in posto che ti farà emozionare.

Tenuta le Velette is a family-run business that has been handing down this tradition since the end of the 19th century, when in 1877 the brothers Sante and Luigi Felici decided to buy the estate. In view of the cliff of Orvieto, the winery is located on land exclusively of volcanic origin on which it cultivates about 100 hectares of vineyards and about 4000 olive trees.

Living  an experience at Tenuta le Velette, it is possible to touch the whole history of this wonderful place and the passion of the people who lived there. The hand-dug tuff caves, the concrete cisterns, the centuries-old linden trees, the old avenues, the barrel cellar of Etruscan origin  are all elements that allow you to immerse yourself in a place that will excite you.

I vini della Tenuta le Velette cercano di esprimere al meglio territorio che rappresentano. L'Orvieto Calssico DOC  prodotto secondo i canoni della tradizione è sicuramente il pilastro dell'azienda a cui si  sonoaffiancati negli anni vini monovarietali e blend sia bianchi che rossi per cercare di esaltare le espressioni delle diverse varietà coltivate su questi ricchissimi suoli.

The wines of Tenuta le Velette try to best express the territory they represent. The Orvieto Calssico DOC produced according to the canons of tradition is certainly the pillar of the company which has been joined over the years by monovarietal wines and both white and red blends to try to enhance the expressions of the different varieties grown on these very rich and mineral soils.
