About Winery and Wines
The Terre Caudium Winery is the realization of a long cultivated dream of the Caporaso family that boasts
a century-old tradition of winemakers.
Knowledge and passion for the product of the vine have been handed down for 4 generations.
Activity handed down by grandfather Carmine and father Pasquale. It was in 2007 that Carmine, with great dedication and enthusiasm, assisted by the entire family, started the bottling of the great DOC wines of the territory. Since 2022 his son Ruben has been carrying on the company with the whole family.
The winery produces three types of wine: Aglianico del Taburno, Falanghina e Coda di volpe.
The grapes all come from vineyards between the municipalities of Cautano and Vitulano, owned by the Caporaso family, that personally follows and takes care of the entire production chain:
from the cultivation of the vine to the harvesting and vinification of the grapes; period that can last even a few years, as in the case of wines aged in wood and reserves; as well as the promotion and sale of wines.
