Be inspired by what our customers say

5 amazing tasting and experience (Nicholas)We went to three wineries during our time in Sannio and Terre Stregate was our favorite. We had a great time and Angelo was a fantastic guide. We enjoyed learning about wine from him and enjoyed our converstaions. The tasting itself came with food products which were delicious and were able to select the 3 wines we wanted to try. Falanghina is our favorite wine and we have tried many different ones throughout Campania. The one we tried at Terre Stregate was one of the best we have had, if not the best. The Aglianico was also delicious and lighter compared to other ones we've had from Irpinia. The Falanghina dessert wine was amazing as well. The tour itself was very easy took book through winedering and Angelo spoke amazing English, which is hard to find when looking for wine tastings in the area. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about wine. We purchased an Aglianico and Falanghina dessert wine, and are very excited to enjoy them at home when we return to the US.

5 What a Treasure (Maggie)We recently visited the Benevento region and we were looking for a fun, wine tasting experience. We selected Pietreionne Vini mostly based on its location. What an amazing treat we had. First, we were given a tour of the winery and how they made the wine. It was a real treat to learn how a small winery does its operations. We then went to their restaurant where were were served a 4 course meal along with a tasting of 5 wines. Given we were the only group there, we had a totally private experience which was absolutely amazing. We walked away on cloud 9, 5 bottles of wine and some olive oil, and a loaf of bread made by the host's mother. We will visit the winery again when we return to the region and we would hands down recommend it to anyone looking for an intimate wine tasting for the region.

5 Enchanting experience at the mother winery of Falanghina (Katya)We were incredibly happy with this experience. The winery is ancient, underground, 16 meters below! We were welcomed by the owner, and the visit was extremely interesting. We have visited several wineries until now, but this one is truly special. The wines were delicious, in fact we bought a few bottles to take home.

4 Great tasting and food (Luce)Mr. Mariano was very helpful in showing us the winery, explaining many things that exist behind the bottle of wine we normally buy and know so little about. The dinner was excellent, as were the wine pairings!

5 Fantastic experience (Filomena)We participated with great curiosity in "Sober men don't tell stories" and we were thrilled by it. It is a truly out-of-the-ordinary experience that perfectly blends oenology, culture, and atmosphere. Filippo was an exceptional guide: passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging, he led us on a fascinating journey made of anecdotes, ancient stories, and curiosities linked to the world of wine. The choice to make the tour itinerant, between the Cantina Pirata and the ancient village, gives it an original rhythm and makes everything more vivid and authentic. We greatly appreciated both the uniqueness of the tour and, of course, the wines offered, carefully chosen and capable of telling the story of the territory in every sip. An experience that I warmly recommend to anyone looking for something more than a simple tasting. It was so wonderful that we have already recommended it to some of our friends, confident that they will be as captivated as we were. Kudos to Filippo!

5 A beautiful discovery among wines and the history of Guardia Sanframondi (Angelo)I participated in the cellar visit with a tasting itinerary to discover Guardia Sanframondi and it was an unexpected experience. The walk through the town's streets was very pleasant and well-organized: along the way you taste different local wines, each accompanied by paired local products. Between one tasting and the next, you discover the history and various anecdotes about the area. An experience that I recommend to those who want to better discover the wines of Sannio, but also to those who simply want to spend an afternoon that's different from the usual.

5 Rewarding (Michele)It was a rewarding and enriching experience due to the high competence of the manager, who welcomed and pampered us for the entire period of our stay, telling us about the territory and the creation of the vineyard with its peculiarities. This was all enhanced during the tasting of the delicious wines, which were described from harvest to production. All accompanied by food magnificently prepared by the very expert cook. Another important moment was the visit to the cellar, a site created with high-tech machinery. Ultimately, I highly recommend a visit with the tasting. Thanks for the beautiful day.

5 Excellent experience (Federica)I gifted this experience to myself and my boyfriend for our anniversary. I highly recommend it. The food, climate, atmosphere, company, and staff were very pleasant. We returned home rejuvenated. The experience lasted 5 hours instead of 3 because the oenologist answered all our questions and I must say he conveys all his experience and passion to others. We had a very good time, on a scale from 1 to 10 it earns a solid 8. We will definitely return for other experiences. I would suggest adding an experience that includes an overnight stay, wine tasting, and breakfast. I would find it appealing ihih Thanks again! Keep it up, guys

5 Passion and expertise (Luigi)Definitely a positive experience starting from the welcome, with courtesy, patience and professionalism. We visited the vineyard and also the cellar, and then had lunch in the company of the young couple who manage the facility with the other guests; we appreciated the dishes with the paired wines and chatted pleasantly about the culture of good drinking. Highly recommended.

5 Discovering Sannio through the stories and flavors of Pietreionne (Raffaele)We visited Cantine Pietreionne, in Ponte, and we came back truly enthusiastic. The visit began among the rows of vines, where they told us with great expertise and passion about the work that accompanies each phase of cultivation: a technical but always clear journey, which made us appreciate the value of the Sannio territory even more. In the cellar, they guided us to discover the history, the production choices, and the identity of their wines, with explanations rich in detail and always tied to the territory. The final tasting was pleasant and well-structured: wines that tell the story of the land they come from, accompanied by excellent cured meats, cheeses, and bruschetta that enhanced their flavors. Experiences like this, created by knowledgeable and passionate young people, are precious because they help Sannio to grow and become known for what it deserves. An authentic experience, which we recommend to anyone who wants to truly discover the world of wine starting from the vineyard.

5 Sublime experience (Francesca)I gave this package to my parents as a gift. Beyond all expectations, they told me about the beautiful impressions from the visit among the vineyards, the winery tour with the story of each production phase, and finally the lunch composed of expertly chosen courses paired with sparkling wines and two excellent wines from the Sannio territory from their Pietreionne winery. Everything was seasoned by the presence and company of Daniele, one of the owners. I am truly grateful to the organization and I hope to be able to experience it soon myself!

5 An experience to absolutely do again (Vincenzo)I booked this experience as a birthday gift. Despite our inexperience in the wine sector, we never felt out of place. We were explained the whole process, from the grape to the bottling, along with the history of the place and the differences between the various types of grapes. At the time of the tasting, we embarked on a journey through the evolution of Falanghina, accompanied by an excellent platter of locally produced cured meats. What can I say? A magnificent experience told in an equally magnificent way.

The visit to the vineyard and the cellar was truly moving, seeing how much work is hidden behind a single glass of wine is truly... amazing! Needless to say: extraordinary wine! Very good food. A truly warm welcome, it felt like having lunch with family! Absolutely recommended experience.

5 An engaging experience (Alessandro)Daniele, with expertise and passion, showed us the vineyards, the procedures from the beginning to bottling, and led us on a complete sensory experience. He explained in great detail the philosophy behind his production and what he intends to do to further improve the quality. The wines were presented honestly, explaining their merits, flaws, and characteristics. Overall, a very engaging experience, lasting an hour longer than expected. A special mention for the quality of the cured meats and cheeses offered to us, truly out of the ordinary.

5 A very pleasant experience (Gabriella)I came with my sister for a wine tasting and we found ourselves involved in a very pleasant experience! The very kind owner involved us in his world, first showing us the vineyards, where everything is born, and then accompanying us throughout the entire lunch. With warmth and clarity, he explained to us what it means to drink wine consciously. For non-experts like us, it was truly a pleasure to understand the work that goes into a bottle of wine. The wine was excellent and then what can I say, the view of Taburno in front of us was stunning!

5 Rustic experience (Francesco)We had the chance to have a truly traditional experience, tasting three wines and some excellent homemade dishes. The owner sat with me and my friend at the table, ate with us, and explained a few things about the wines. Since we were late, we did the winery tour afterwards instead of before. Great experience.

5 Fantastic experience! (Gilberto)The welcome and the profound knowledge of Giuseppe were exceptional; he welcomed us in a superb manner, first by explaining the history of the winery and the main characteristics of the terroir and the vines. Precise in describing all the stages of the wine production process, from the grape harvest to the aging in the bottle. Personally, the best moment was the tasting with excellent wines and delicious local products. An experience to recommend to everyone.
