At Vignoble Alain Robert, discover the production of different wine styles all produced in Loire Valley!

This 3-hour tour begins with a guided walk in the vineyard where everything starts, as no good wine can be made without growing quality grapes in the first place! You will learn about French appellations in general and in particular about AOC Vouvray produced in this area of the Loire Valley. This guided walk will be an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful vineyard landscapes and to discover "troglodytes" - traditional Loire Valley caves dug in the limestone. This tour is adapted for both beginners and wine amateurs.

Later, you will tour the rock-hewn cellar of the winery to learn about vinification, aging and the traditional method used for the production of sparkling wines. Depending on the date of your visit, you may get to see bottling, disgorgement, labeling or even machine or hand harvest. Your experience will finish with a guided tasting of 6 wines of Vignoble Alain Robert, among which wines of Vouvray, Touraine or Loire appellations. The tasting will be accompanied by local delicacies (Loire fish rillettes, various local cheeses and charcuteries and a local dessert), so you'll also learn about local food and wine pairings. During this wine tasting, you'll have the opportunity to taste all colors and all styles of wine - sparkling, rosé, red, dry and sweet white wines.
