This delightful experience at Citille di Sopra begins with an introduction to the estate's history, followed by a guided visit to the vineyards, where guests learn about the cultivation techniques used. The tour continues in the winery, offering insight into the winemaking process, from vinification to bottling.

The experience concludes in the tasting room, where guests will enjoy four estate wines: Toscana Rosso IGT, Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, and Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Poggio Ronconi DOCG. Each wine is paired with dishes prepared by Fabio, the owner, using ingredients sourced directly from the estate. The antipasto includes bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil, mixed crostini, and a selection of cured or wild game cured meats. This is followed by a first course made with flour from grains grown on the estate, served with a wild boar white ragù.

Beautiful

Really very nice tour and tasting at the Citille di Sopra winery, top-notch cold cuts, exceptional wild boar prosciutto and the exceptional white wild boar ragù tagliatelle, plus great wines including Rosso di Montalcino and their two Brunellos.
