You'll be welcomed by Francesco, a member of the Maionchi family, guide, and sommelier, who will accompany you throughout the visit. Your experience begins with a walk through the vineyards, followed by a visit to the historic winery, where you'll learn about the estate's history, its winemaking traditions, and the unique terroir of the Lucca countryside while enjoying panoramic views over the surrounding hills.

The experience continues in Fattoria Maionchi's cozy indoor tasting room, a charming stone-walled space, where you'll enjoy a guided tasting of 4 estate wines:

Maria Pia – Trebbiano & Vermentino

Rosato di Selvata – Moscato d'Amburgo

Rosso delle Colline Lucchesi DOC – Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo & Colorino

Arcangelo – Merlot

The wines are paired with Fattoria Maionchi's extra virgin olive oil and a generous Tuscan platter including seasonal bruschette, finocchiona, prosciutto crudo, pecorino cheese, bread, and water, offering an authentic taste of the region's local cuisine.

Children are welcome and enjoy the same food platter as adults, with water instead of the wine tasting.
