Tri Hony - Family winery
About the Winery
The history of Tri Hony dates back to the 19th century, when the ancestors of the current winemaking family began cultivating vines in the historic town of Modra, Slovakia. Today, Tri Hony continues this legacy, nurturing three distinct vineyards that define the Modra terroir — Dolné Grefty, Noviny, and Flokna.
With an annual production of around 20,000 liters, Tri Hony is dedicated to crafting wines that emphasize quality over quantity. Tastings take place in a 16th-century historical cellar and a charming patio surrounded by the old city walls. Visitors can choose from a variety of experiences — from a quick tasting flight to a full-day program that includes a vineyard visit, a historical walk through Modra, a pottery workshop, or even a grill gathering. Tailor-made experiences can also be arranged upon request.
The estate welcomes guests without prior booking — simply send a message or call to arrange a visit. The venue can host up to 30 people and offers an authentic and memorable insight into the winemaking heritage of Modra.
