Risale al II secolo una moneta Romana, prezioso ritrovamento della nostra Val di Suro, testimonianza di munifici scambi commerciali tra queste rive e l’Impero. Da qui partivano orci ed anfore cariche di Vino e Frumento destinati a Roma. Da allora la vocazione di questa terra non è mai mutata; è qui, sotto questo sole e da tempi che confinano con l’eternità, che matura il nettare degli Dei. Ci troviamo immersi nella zona protetta del Parco delle Madonie e, percorrendo le piste che attraversano le Tenute di Val di Suro, appaiono subito spettacolari ed imponenti i tralci di vite che vigorosi si innalzano ad altezze insospettabili per questo bordo del Mediterraneo; i frutti perfetti, pronti per la Vendemmia, infatti attendono le cesoie dei vignaioli ad 1,5 mt dal suolo. I grappoli vengono nutriti da un terreno fresco, ricco di oligoelementi, e sono attraversati dalla brezza marina del Mar Tirreno che da sempre assiste al loro indomito rinascere. Sarà poi la potenza del sole siciliano a conferire colori e sapori unici ai nostri vini. Questo contrasto ed una forte escursione termica infondono a questi nettari note davvero straordinarie.
