Vigneti Vallorani
About the Winery
Vigneti Vallorani, established in 1963 by Livio Vallorani and Filomena Fazzini, is now managed by their grandsons, Rocco and Stefano Vallorani. Located in the picturesque hills of the Piceno region, our estate spans 8 hectares, with 7 dedicated to vineyards and 1 to olive groves. We are committed to cultivating only indigenous Piceno grape varieties, following the principles of organic farming. Every task in our vineyards is performed manually, from tending the vines to harvesting and selecting the grapes, ensuring the utmost care and quality in our produce. Our recently renovated winery is designed with sustainability in mind, powered by a dedicated photovoltaic system and constructed to minimize environmental impact. The production and aging areas have been carefully developed to preserve the integrity of our grapes throughout the winemaking process. With an annual production of approximately 20,000 bottles, Vigneti Vallorani offers wines that are entirely free from synthetic chemicals or animal-derived substances. Visitors to our winery can experience the rich heritage of Piceno viticulture, rooted in tradition and enhanced by our commitment to organic practices and environmental stewardship.
About the Wines
Vigneti Vallorani crafts a selection of exquisite wines that embody the authentic character of the Piceno region. Our Avora is a Falerio DOP Bio, a white wine aged on yeast lees, made from Pecorino, Passerina, and Trebbiano grapes, delivering a fresh and vibrant expression of these local varieties. Zaccarì is an Offida DOCG Passerina Bio, meticulously fermented and aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, offering a complex and refined flavor profile. Lefric, a Marche Bianco IGP, blends Trebbiano and Malvasia, produced using ancient techniques to create a wine with a unique and traditional character. For red wine enthusiasts, we offer Polisia, a Piceno Superiore DOP aged on yeast lees, made from Sangiovese and Montepulciano grapes, and Konè, another Piceno Superiore DOP aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, providing a deeper, more structured experience. Our Sorlivio is a Marche Rosso IGP, a pure Sangiovese aged for 22 months in French oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle, delivering a rich and powerful wine. Finally, Philumene, a Marche Rosso IGP made from Montepulciano, is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle, offering a bold and complex taste that reflects the dedication and craftsmanship of Vigneti Vallorani. Each of our wines is a testament to the organic and sustainable methods we uphold, showcasing the true essence of the Piceno terroir.

Traditions
The stunning landscape, clearly visible from the tasting room.
The food of high quality, natural and genuine and, above all, very very good wine.
We were impressed by the use of still-traditional techniques like the hand-harvesting of the grapes.
