About Winery and Wines

Casa Vinicola Pappalardo was born in Nicolosi, a small village on the slopes of Etna, in 1930. The volcanic nature of the lands of the company within the Etna d.o.c. zone, allow to obtain wines with a unique and unmistakable taste. Still today and since three generations, the cultivation of vines, the production of wines, the bottling and the commercialization are directly managed by the Pappalardo family that with commitment and passion follows every step of the production process.

In our winery we prefer the cultivation of autochthonous grapes such as Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio in our vineyards on Etna and Nero d'Avola, Frappato, Insolia are planted in our vineyards in Mazzarrone, considerable space is being dedicated to new plantings of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
