VIV Winery, nestled in the heart of Monferrato on a hill in San Marzano Oliveto, is a testament to a Piedmontese family's deep-rooted connection to the land and a passion for natural winemaking. The name "VIV," meaning "alive" in the local dialect, reflects the vibrant spirit of this project, spearheaded by father-daughter duo Alessandro and Ilaria. Their family has a long history of agricultural tradition, yet they have always resisted conventional methods, seeking instead to embrace more sustainable and natural practices.

At VIV Winery, we believe that nature's wisdom surpasses human intervention. By respecting the natural rhythms of the environment, we allow the land to express itself through our wines. Our vineyards are cultivated with low-intervention techniques, ensuring that the essence of the soil, the uniqueness of each vintage, and the purity of the grapes are preserved.

Sustainability and biodiversity are at the core of our philosophy. In the winery, we adhere to minimalist principles, both in the winemaking process and in the materials we use. We avoid wood barrels, favoring a straightforward vinification process that transforms grapes into wine with minimal interference. Our wines are bottled young, maintaining their fresh and authentic character. Additionally, our packaging is 100% recyclable, and we use crown caps for most of our wines, a choice that is modern, reliable, and aligned with our commitment to the lowest ecological footprint. VIV Winery is not just about wine; it is about a resilient approach to winemaking that honors the land and its legacy.

At VIV Winery, we cultivate a selection of indigenous grape varieties that are true to the Monferrato region, including Moscato Bianco, Barbera, Dolcetto, and the rare Moscato Nero. Our wines are a reflection of the territory, each with its own distinctive character and story.

Our collection includes six unique labels:

Universi Paralleli: A sparkling rosé made using the ancestral method. This wine is fruity with light aromatic notes, offering a fresh and lively experience.

Natura Estatica: A skin-contact white wine crafted from aromatic grapes, resulting in a wine with depth and a vibrant bouquet.

Ombra Lunga: A light red wine designed to be enjoyed chilled. It’s a perfect companion for warm days, with a delicate balance of flavors.

L'Onirico Vignaiolo: A still red wine from a lesser-known, yet traditional grape variety. It embodies the rustic charm and complexity of Monferrato.

L'Onirico Assaggiatore: A well-structured still red wine, made from a single, typical Monferrato grape variety. It showcases the richness and boldness of the region's reds.

Anima della Terra Moscato d'Asti DOCG: A sparkling sweet wine, fully aromatic and characteristic of the Moscato Bianco grape, offering a delightful sweetness and effervescence.
