Here is what's in store for you
At Poggio al Bosco, you'll be welcomed to the shaded patio overlooking the vineyard by either Elena or Melissa. Elena is part of the fourth generation of the family running the estate, while Melissa is a passionate wine enthusiast and a long-standing member of the winery’s team.
Your host will guide you through the family’s history and their commitment to organic production. The experience centers on a tasting of four estate-produced organic wines: a white, a rosé, a Chianti DOCG, and a Toscana IGT red. While the individual labels may vary with the season, these four wine styles are always featured.
The tasting is paired with Tuscan bread bruschetta and five of the estate's own extra virgin olive oils. You will sample two traditional oils, one delicate and one more intense, alongside three flavored varieties. For children or anyone not drinking wine, organic grape juice is available, accompanied by the same olive oil tasting. Wooden games and coloring materials are also on hand to keep younger children entertained.
