Your journey begins with a guided tour of the fascinating historic cellar of Antica Cantina Leonardi, the oldest in Montefiascone. You will walk among atmospheric barrels and arches carved directly into the volcanic rock that characterizes the Lake Bolsena area. During the visit, you will discover the heritage of a family that has been crafting excellence in the Tuscia region for four generations, preserving centuries-old winemaking traditions.

Following the tour, our sommelier will lead you through a technical tasting of three iconic labels: the famous Poggio del Cardinale Est! Est!! Est!! di Montefiascone DOP, the Grechetto Pensiero Lazio IGP, and the Don Carlo blend (Merlot and Cabernet). Each glass is paired with a selection of local gastronomic specialties, such as traditional cold cuts and aged cheeses, chosen to enhance the mineral notes of the volcanic soil. This experience is truly special as it combines the architectural charm of an ancient cave with the authentic narrative of a pioneer family in Latium enology.

The winery is located in the heart of the village, at Via del Pino, 2 in Montefiascone. The winery has a small internal car park reserved for guests. Public transport is available, with a bus stop about a 10-minute walk from the winery, but we recommend travelling by private car or taxi.
