This exclusive experience is designed for those who want to appreciate the evolution of wine over time. Your visit begins with a guided tour of the fascinating historic cellar of Antica Cantina Leonardi in Montefiascone. Entirely hand-carved into volcanic rock, these underground chambers provide the perfect natural environment for aging. You will walk among bottles stored for years, learning how our family has spent four generations perfecting the art of long-aging wines in the heart of the Tuscia region.
The highlight of the visit is a technical tasting of four of our most prestigious vintage labels, led by our professional sommelier. You will sample the Poggio del Cardinale Est! Est!! Est!! 2018, Pensiero Grechetto 2018, and two different vintages of our Don Carlo red (2015 and 2017). Each wine is thoughtfully paired with a selection of premium local cold cuts and aged cheeses from the Lake Bolsena area. This experience is special because it offers a rare vertical perspective on how the mineral-rich soil of Montefiascone expresses itself differently across the seasons.

Where we are and how to reach us
The winery is located in the heart of the village, at Via del Pino, 2 in Montefiascone. The winery has a small internal car park reserved for guests. Public transport is available, with a bus stop about a 10-minute walk from the winery, but we recommend travelling by private car or taxi.
