Banyuls Wine Tasting & Guided Walk in Collioure
Here is what's in store for you
Your experience begins with Myriam, a sommelier with 27 years of expertise, who will guide you through the streets of Collioure. The walk focuses on the story of Banyuls, the naturally sweet wine that defines the history and traditions of the Côte Vermeille. Myriam explains what makes this wine unique in clear, accessible terms, with no technical jargon required.
After the walk, you will settle into a wine cellar in Collioure dating back to 1965. Here, you will taste at least six wines from the Banyuls appellation. The selection may range from fresh, fruit-forward styles to aged, traditional cuvées with notes of dried fruit, spice, and nuts. Depending on availability, you might also sample white, amber, or rosé Banyuls.
Throughout the tasting, Myriam encourages questions and conversation, creating a relaxed setting for you to explore the aromas and flavors at your own pace. No previous wine knowledge is needed.
