Sensory Wine Tasting with a Sommelier in Collioure
Here is what's in store for you
Your host, Myriam, a sommelier with 27 years of experience, will welcome you to her wine cellar in Collioure, dating back to 1965. Over the course of an hour, she will guide you through a sensory tasting designed especially for beginners. The focus is not on technical jargon, but on your own perceptions, memories, and senses.
You will taste at least six wines from the local Banyuls and Collioure appellations. The selection includes red, white, and rosé Collioure wines, alongside the region's signature naturally sweet Banyuls wines. Myriam provides clear, simple explanations to help you put words to what you taste and understand your own preferences. There are no wrong answers; the goal is to learn to trust your palate in a relaxed and friendly setting.
