Bogova Waterfall Hike and Winery Tour from Berat

Your tour begins with a scenic drive from Berat, led by your guide. On arrival, start with a 30-45 minute hike through a lush forest. The path leads you to the Bogova Waterfall, where water cascades 20 meters into a deep, clear pool. Here you can relax, enjoy the sounds of nature, or take a refreshing swim.

After your nature experience, head to one of Albania's top-rated wineries. You'll visit the underground cellar, see the bottling area, and then settle in the characteristic traditional part of the winery and agritourism for your tasting. You'll sample three different wines, typically a white, a rosé, and a red, made from indigenous grapes like Puls, Debina, and Serina, as well as international varieties like Merlot and Cabernet. The tasting also includes a traditional grape raki and is paired with a selection of seasonal finger foods.

You'll enjoy local cheeses and hams such as Djathë i Bardhë, Kaçkavall, and Prshut, seasonal fruits, olives, and Gliko, the Queen of jams. For children, juice or soft drinks are provided. If you'd like something more substantial, the winery has a restaurant where you can order additional food at your own expense.
