Discover the elite of Italian winemaking with an interactive red wine tasting at Bottega Botlé, a warm and convivial tasting spot in the heart of Bologna.
During this experience, you will taste 3 of the world’s most celebrated Italian red wines: Barbaresco, Barolo, and Amarone. Sourced from selected boutique wineries, these wines offer a journey through some of Italy’s most iconic red wine styles, known for their structure, elegance, and complexity.
To make the tasting more engaging, you will participate in Bottega Botlé’s signature Sommelier Game on a digital tablet, designed to challenge your palate and help you discover the wines in a fun way. A member of staff will also accompany you throughout the experience, offering guidance during the tasting.
The wines are served with a generous selection of artisanal local products, including Mortadella Bologna PGI, local cheeses, aged Parmigiano Reggiano PDO, artisanal honey, gourmet fruit jams, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI, and a tasting of monocultivar extra virgin olive oils.

Bottega Botlé is situated directly opposite Palazzo Grassi (the historic building housing the Circolo Ufficiale), right in front of the city's oldest and most fascinating wooden portico.

A pleasant 15-minute walk, straight down Via dell'Indipendenza, the city's main historic street.
Local Tip: On your way to us, make a tiny detour to see the famous "Finestrella di Via Piella" (Bologna's iconic hidden canal window)
