Chianti Wine Tasting with Local Products at Casanuova di Ama in Gaiole

You will be welcomed personally by the owner and their family at the Casanuova di Ama estate, a classic Tuscan farmhouse. While there is no formal tour, you are free to explore the surrounding vineyards on your own before the tasting begins.

The experience continues in the tasting room, where the family will guide you through a complete selection of their wines, including a sparkling, a white, and signature reds. You will taste a Spumante Metodo Classico, IGT Toscana Bianco "Mattutino", IGT Toscana Rosso "Com'era", IGT Toscana Rosso Selezione "La Fonte", a Chianti Classico, and a Chianti Classico Riserva.

The tasting is accompanied by Italian bruschettina with the estate's own Extra Virgin Olive Oil, olives, fresh bread, and mineral water. The experience concludes with a taste of Vinsanto del Chianti Classico paired with traditional Cantucci biscuits, and a sample of Chianti Classico Grappa.

If you select the Superior tasting, your tasting will also include bruschetta with fresh cherry tomatoes and estate's own olive oil, as well as a platter of local Tuscan specialties (traditional salame, prosciutto, capocollo or finocchiona), and a selection of local pecorino cheeses of varying ages.
