Here is what's in store for you

This visit to Bisson winery takes visitors on a path to learn about the history of Bisson wines, which started when in 1978 Mr. Piero Lugano, aware of the potential that he sensed was hidden in the harsh wines produced by Ligurian farmers, decided to try enhancing the vines of the Riviera Ligure del Levante.

During the guided tour you will be able to understand how Bisson's wines are made and feel the love and passion with which they are produced. You'll have the chance to admire the 3,000-liter aquarium in the Sala delle Volte and discover the innovative architecture of the steel barrels where the wine is aged. Then your tour will continue with a visit to the underground Caveau.

After the guided tour, you'll take part in the tasting of 3 wines.

Finally, you can choose among 3 different tasting platters to pair with the wines:
- Base option: Schiacciata, Taggiasca olives, and homemade bread
- Option plus: Classic platter with a selection of cheese and cold cuts
- Premium option: Generous platter with a selection of cheese and cold cuts, vegetable quiches, and delicacies from the vegetable garden.

Reviews of this Winery

Interesting wines!

Rate: 4 out of 5 9/1/24
Bisson was very unique, I would give it the highest mark for that. It is a beautiful setting. The antipasti’s were very tasty. My only recommendation for that was more variety of olives and maybe some pesto. I am not a bianco wine drinker, but their whites were very tasty, and happily drank two of them. The reds were eccellente! I wish I would have had those served first bc I was driving and had to just sip a little. The tour added to the ending dining experience. The parte migliore was the explanation about the wine that was aged in the sea! So affascinante!! As far as the service, it was good, just felt we could have been catered to a little more. How is everything etc. overall great experience! January

The atmosphere was fantastic in the yard and the cellar, the tour was pleasant but could use a little more depth and general facts about wine as a lot of the people in our group were novice. Food was superb’

Bel posto, molto romantico.
Le lampade andrebbero controllate che ogni tanto sfarfallavano.
Aggiungere un poco di cibo in più.

A lovely local wine experience!

Thank you for a lovely visit! My daughter and I really enjoyed La Cantina Bisson in Sestri Levante - a beautiful vineyard with locally produced wine. After a guided tour to the wine cellar we tasted 3 white and 2 red wines followed by local ham and cheese. We highly recommend the experience!
We recommend that you organize the wine tasting together with an expert to learn how to smell and recognize the components of the different wines.

Esperienza ottima

Misleading description and offer in nice location

Rate: 2 out of 5 10/1/23
The winery is in a nice location, but the english speaking tour was unfortunately quite difficult to understand and seemed our guide lacked detail/accuracy knowledge of the wine making process etc. this is quite common in tastings, but still a bit disappointing. The wines we tasted were quite standard whites and reds that had basically the same production process. I had maybe expected a bit more when paying for a package to taste their “finest wines”. Upon request we got to taste a Grenache “reserve” from 2015 which was interesting to compare with the 2020 Grenache which was the last of the 5 wines in the tasting.
More detail and more structured tasting with a “special wine” at the end
