Classic Soave Wine Tasting at Tenuta Corte Giacobbe
Here is what's in store for you
The Dal Cero family welcomes you to Tenuta Corte Giacobbe, their estate set on the volcanic hills east of Verona where they have been growing vines for three generations. Your visit begins with an introduction to the territory and the family's history, followed by a guided tour of the cellar to learn about their winemaking and aging techniques.
The experience concludes in the tasting room with a guided tasting of four wines that express the character of the local terroir. You will taste:
- Spumante Brut Metodo Classico Corte Giacobbe: A sparkling wine made in the classic method, aged 24–36 months on the lees, with fine bubbles and a dry, savory profile.
- Soave DOC Roncà Monte Calvarina: A fresh white from Garganega grapes grown on the Monte Calvarina hill, with notes of white flowers and almond.
- Runcata Soave Superiore DOCG: The family's cru Soave, a richer and more structured Garganega with notes of orchard fruit and a saline, almond finish.
- Ripasso della Valpolicella DOC: A blend of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, re-fermented on Amarone skins for a profile of dried cherry and warm spice.
The tasting is served with grissini and breadsticks.
