"Colors of Wine" Tour & Wine Tasting at Buccia Nera in Arezzo

Your visit to the organic Buccia Nera estate, run by the Mancini family, begins in the vineyard. Weather permitting, you'll have a brief introduction to their work among the vines before heading inside. A member of the family or the hospitality team will guide you through the winemaking room, the barrel-ageing cellar, the bottling area, and the special room where Vin Santo is produced, explaining their organic winemaking philosophy at each step.

After the tour, you'll take a seat in the tasting room for a guided tasting that explores the four main 'colors' of wine. You will taste four distinct styles: a Toscana IGT white, a Toscana IGT rosé, a Toscana IGT orange wine, and a Toscana IGT red. The tasting is accompanied by Tuscan bread and Buccia Nera's own organic extra virgin olive oil. If you select the food pairing option, your tasting will also include a platter of Tuscan cured meats and cheeses, like prosciutto, salame, and pecorino, along with bruschetta with truffle sauce and another with tomato and basil.

Younger visitors are also welcome and will be offered Tuscan bread with the estate's olive oil. The introduction in the vineyard lasts about 10 minutes; should the weather be poor, it will be moved to the end of the tour if conditions allow.
