Here is what's in store for you
Discover one of the first wine regions in the world to be regulated and demarcated for wine production: the Dão!
We will begin our adventure to discover “Novo Dão” wines, produced with awareness and knowledge passed down from generation to generation, something that really puts the Dão region on the map. The first stop will be at a family farm with around 30 hectares of vineyards, where wine production is based on tradition and modernism! You can explore the extensive vineyards and unique architecture of this Quinta on a guided tour, followed by a DOC Dão wine tasting.
Afterwards, we will head to a Quinta that has belonged to the same family for at least 4 generations. At this Quinta, love for nature is a fundamental value, as the wines are produced with a minimum of human intervention, taking advantage of the best qualities that nature gives to the grapes. You will enjoy a delicious lunch in the cellar’s century-old family home, where a 3-course regional meal will be waiting for you!
Finally, a guided tour through the property and a DOC Dão wine tasting await us!
After lunch, it’s time to continue our adventure through Dão and continue visiting Quintas known in the region for the combination of ancestral knowledge and innovation in the production of exceptional DOC Dão table wines!
