San Fabiano Calcinaia ist ein prestigeträchtiges Weingut inmitten der sanften Hügel des Chianti und verkörpert das reiche Weinbauerbe der Toskana. Das Weingut erstreckt sich über 165 Hektar, die in zwei Bereiche aufgeteilt sind: der eine liegt in Poggibonsi, wo sich das Weingut, die Büros und ein großer Teil der Weinberge befinden, und der andere in Castellina in Chianti, wo sich ein Agrotourismusbetrieb und weitere Weinberge befinden. Tenute Piccini wurde 1882 von Angiolo Piccini im Herzen der Toskana gegründet und begann als kleines familiengeführtes Weingut, das Chianti produzierte. Mit seiner über tausendjährigen Geschichte ist das Landgut Cusona ein Zeugnis für das Erbe der Familien Strozzi und Guicciardini. Das Anwesen, das auf das Jahr 994 n. Chr. zurückgeht, erstreckt sich über 530 Hektar in den malerischen toskanischen Hügeln in der Nähe von San Gimignano, einer Stadt, die oft als das "mittelalterliche Manhattan" bezeichnet wird Der politische und wirtschaftliche Einfluss der Familien Strozzi und Guicciardini prägte nicht nur die Toskana, sondern auch Italien und Europa. Die Azienda Agricola Campochiarenti ist ein 50 Hektar großes Weingut, zu dem 14 Hektar Weinberge gehören, auf denen alle Trauben für die Campochiarenti-Weine angebaut werden. Die Rebstöcke sind zwischen 10 und 40 Jahre alt. Eine der wichtigsten Arbeiten in den Weinbergen ist es, die Rebstöcke so gesund wie möglich zu halten, um das hohe Qualitätsniveau der produzierten Weine zu erhalten. Aus diesem Grund werden die Rebstöcke nicht gerodet, sondern behandelt und ersetzt, wenn sie abgestorben sind. So ist es möglich, eine hohe Qualität der produzierten Trauben zu gewährleisten, obwohl die Menge gering ist. Das Ergebnis ist eine geringe Produktion, aber eine hohe Konzentration und Typizität der Trauben, die in den Weinen des Weinguts leicht zu erkennen sind.

Over 50 years ago, Vito Arturo Imberti fell in love with the rolling hills of Chianti, a love that was crowned by the purchase of Fattoria Le Fonti. His children Franca, Ferdinando, and Giovanni, and his nephew Mattia, now tend to the estate's 140 hectares, of which 24 are vineyards, cultivated organically. In addition to the great wines of the Tuscan tradition, Fattoria Le Fonti extra-virgin Chianti Classico DOP olive oil and cereals, while a large part of the farmland is kept as a forest and used for fauna and as a game reserve.

Out of the 72 hectares of vineyards, between 260 and 310 metres a.s.l., 56 hectares are of Sangiovese, the vine which the company has always deeply believed in right from the start. The Sangiovese clones present in the vineyards come from a mass selection of the vines found in the vineyard “Il Poggio”, the “mother” of all the vineyards at Monsanto. Also present in a small percentage are the two historic vines of the Chianti Classico grape blend : Canaiolo and Colorino. In 1976, Fabrizio Bianchi decided to experiment two non-autochthonous vines : he planted the Valdigallo vineyard where the Fabrizio Bianchi Chardonnay is produced today, and the Il Mulino vineyard, which thanks to its pedo-climatic characteristics is the ideal place for the production of Cabernet Sauvignon. The density of the estate is the traditional one with about 5,000/5,500 plants per hectare, while the growing systems are guyot in some vineyards and the spurred cordon in others.
