The Devil's Wine: Dinner & Sparkling Wine Tasting in the Heart of Naples with a Sommelier

Live a special wine-tasting experience in a wine bar in the heart of Naples. Through anecdotes, legends, and stories, your sommelier guide will lead you through a sensory experience of the only wine that "leaves a woman beautiful after drinking (cit. madame de Pompadour): bubbles.

Putting wine at the center of the experience, you will make a journey through the different types of sparkling wines,  analyzing both Italian and foreign products of excellence, and juxtaposing them with rich tastings, with the aim of expanding the organoleptic sensations. Following a brief historical-anthropological introduction to wine, you will have the opportunity to learn about the history, curiosities, characteristics of the territory, grape varieties, and organoleptic characteristics of sparkling wines produced in various areas of the globe.

The experience will include the tasting of 5 wines with bubbles that will be served in combination with seasonal dishes (2 starters, 2 main courses and a dessert) and where possible, typical of the area of production of the same wines, all for a total duration of about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Generally, the wines for tasting include a bubbly Frizzante, an Ancestral method, a Cremant, Martinotti method, a Traditional Method, and to conclude, a Champenois method.

What makes this experience unique is its educational format. In fact, it will be a sommelier from the European School of Sommeliers, dedicated exclusively to you, who will guide the tasting, tuning to your level, whether beginner or advanced, teaching techniques of wine inspection and analysis, and strategies of food and wine pairing, or delving into topics there where required.
