La Vecchia Dispensa, a producer of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena located in the heart of the ancient village of Castelvetro di Modena is ready to welcome you for this experience.
The tour takes place inside the historic Acetaia Storica, located inside the medieval Torre delle Prigioni. Here you can admire the oldest barrels and learn about the ancient tradition of Balsamic Vinegar production. This tour focuses mainly on the older products, but you will still have the opportunity to learn about modern production methods as well.
The tour ends with a guided tasting of the most exclusive Balsamics from "La Vecchia Dispensa": 10 - 20 -40 - 60 years of aging and finally the precious Balsamic Vinegar Centenario Riserva La Vecchia Dispensa (100 years). This is a limited production, as only 50 numbered bottles of this product are produced per year.
