Discovery wine tour in the vineyards of the Ancient Abbey between Cefalù and Castelbuono

Discover the vineyards of the Ancient Abbey located between Cefalù and Castelbuono and enjoy a wine tasting experience in a unique setting with this wine tour!

This daily tour lasting about 8 hours includes pick up and drop off at your accommodation located in the area of Cefalù, Lascari, Gratteri, Campofelice di Roccella, Pollina, or Collesano, by car or van, with an Italian/English speaking driver. The tour will begin with an initial stop in Castelbuono where you will have the opportunity to taste different types of panettone from the famous Fiasconaro Pastry Shop.
Next, you'll visit the ancient medieval castle, the school of the famous film "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso" by Giuseppe Tornatore, and the Matrice Vecchia, which incorporates an ancient pagan temple.

Your tour will then continue with a visit to the ancient Santa Anastasia Abbey, where you will delight in the typical products of the Madonita territory, such as artisanal cheese and cold cuts, paired with three delicious wines produced with biodynamic techniques founded on the principle of eco-sustainability.

Lunch at the winery is not included. You will have the opportunity to choose freely from the a la carte menu or the possible fixed menu of the day. In case you do not want to have lunch at the winery, it is also possible to enjoy only the wine-tasting experience at 3:30 p.m.
If you have chosen to have lunch at the winery, after lunch the tour will continue to Pollina, an ancient medieval village located on top of a hill with a breathtaking view of the sea, the Aeolian Islands, and the Madonie Park. In case of only winetasting done at 3:30 p.m., the visit to Pollina will be done in the morning.
