The Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne in Beaune invites visitors on a unique exploration of this historic and globally recognized cultural heritage. At the city’s entrance, towering clear tendrils rise 24 meters high, evoking the twisting vines around trellises. This architectural marvel, a seamless blend of bio-sourced materials and local craftsmanship, represents the heart of Burgundy wine culture. As the main interpretation center for the Climats du Vignoble de Bourgogne, it celebrates the history, expertise, and heritage of the entire wine region.
Within the tour, a dedicated space highlights the model of terroir-based viticulture, whose historical roots lie in Côte d'Or but extend across Burgundy. This ticket includes a tasting of wine or grape juice, with a separate tour designed for children running parallel to the main experience.
