Let yourself be wowed by the wild views of Irpinia and discover some of the best of the territory's native wines at Macchie Santa Maria Cantine.
This wine experience begins with an introduction to the world of the Macchie Santa Maria winery and vineyards. We will lead you on a walk among the rows of Taurasi vineyards, in a breathtaking panorama, and among the barrels of the winery before proceeding to a tasting of our wines in the tasting room.
The tasting includes 3 different wines, a glass of welcome bubbly, a glass of Fiano DOCG or Greco DOCG, and a glass of Aglianico DOC from the Taurasi area. A rich platter of local cheeses and cold cuts will be served to accompany the tasting.

A fantastic morning immersed in greenery
We were welcomed by Oreste who enthusiastically told us about his wines and the history of the family property. We visited the cellar and vineyard and always enjoyed the view of the Calore valley. Tasting with very fragrant wines, cold cuts, cheeses, and leavened goods in abundance, a very well-kept and continuously evolving facility. We went home happy with several bottles of this delicious Taurasi with its vanilla flavor. Special mention to Oreste for his conviviality and attention to every detail, it's always nice to see a young person passionate about their work. We will definitely be back!

We had this experience for the first time, immersed in the green of the Irpinian countryside. Excellent welcome from Mr. Oreste, a kind person, who made us feel at home and as if we had been friends for a lifetime; he explained the history of the winery, of his lands, and so much more with such a passion that it almost made us partners in his business. We started with a visit to the cellars, then a short walk in the vineyard, and finished with a tasting of 3 wines, appreciating their aromas and flavors, all accompanied by super exceptional local products. Super modern and super clean environment. I highly recommend going to visit this winery for a new and immersive experience. Thank you for the welcome and we will see you again very soon.
