Your experience at the Lungarotti estate begins with a welcome from their Wine Educator and Hospitality Manager. They will guide you through the villa's reception rooms, into the vineyard for a view over the valley, and then underground to the winemaking areas. The tour descends to level -2 to see the fermentation tanks and learn about the first stages of the process. On level -1, you'll visit the barrel room, where the wines mature in tanks, barrels, and barriques.
After the tour, you'll take a seat in the tasting room for an interactive tasting of three representative wines: a Trebbiano Spoletino DOC, a Montefalco Rosso DOC, and a Sagrantino DOCG. For each label, the Wine Educator will explain the grape variety and production process, guiding you through its visual, aromatic, and taste analysis. The tasting is paired with freshly baked local bread and the estate's own organic extra virgin olive oil.
