Your experience at Borgo Turrito begins in the vineyard, where your host, Pasquale, the winery's tourism manager, will introduce you to the local grape varieties and the agricultural philosophy of the estate. The tour continues into the production areas for a closer look at the winemaking process.
After the tour, you will take a seat in the tasting room, located inside the winery's shop, for a guided tasting of four distinctive wines. The selection is designed to showcase the versatility of local grapes like Nero di Troia and Moscato, and includes:
- CalaRosa: A Classic Method Rosé Brut sparkling wine
- Agave: A still white wine from Moscato grapes
- Lingue di Terra: A red wine made from Nero di Troia
- Sètale: A sweet passito wine from Moscato grapes.
The tasting is paired with a platter of regional products, including fennel-seed and mildly spicy sausages from Salumificio Moreno, Canestrato Foggiano cheese from Caseificio Cordisco, caciocavallo from Caseificio Artigiana, and extra virgin olive oil tarallini from Fiore di Puglia.
