My husband, Buck, and I visited twice...

My husband, Buck, and I visited twice this summer - once on the recommendation of another vineyard and the second because we enjoyed our wines so much! The viognier was our favourite and, sadly, sold out but the pinot noirs are worth taking home! Even more lovely is the host, Emma. She makes the experience all the more worth it and left us awaiting our next trip out to the Yarra Valley!

I visited Basil's Farm yesterday with ten...

I visited Basil's Farm yesterday with ten friends. We were met at the ferry by Kevin and Angus. We boarded their comfy bus and enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the way to Basil's Farm. The weather was perfect. We had a wine tasting to start with and then had an entree and main meal. The only problem was they forgot about our main meal. Didn't really matter cos we were not in a hurry as we were staying overnight. The food was delicious and the wine superb. We will definetly be returning. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful setting and gorgeous views.
