Every part of our experience was better than the last! The staff was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. Not only were they great at their jobs but they were fun to conversations with and really added to the fun atmosphere! We were traveling with a group of ten and every single person found at least one ( some of us four or five) wine that they absolutely loved. The wine was not only delicious but also very well priced. After our experience in the tap room we decided to have dinner. The food is delicious! Where as some of the hill country wineries offer little prepackaged snacks, Duchman has a full restaurant with bar. After a long day of wine tasting a few of us were pleasantly surprised to find a full bar with other options. The food was amazing. Not 'good for a the only place in the middle of nowhere' good. It was genuinely delicious and would rival many of the Italian restaurants in the city. An over all fabulous experience!

I wish I could say more about this vineyard, but everything I'm remembering about the place has nothing to do with their wine, which I guess means that it didn't leave an impression with me. I do remember that the venue looked impressively enormous and that the staff were extremely friendly and inviting. The one advice I can give you is to put your name down on the waitlist at the adjacent Italian restaurant before you head off to the wine tasting. It gets extremely busy so trying a flight of wine will surely help pass the wait time.

Visited here a few weeks ago and had a very nice time. A little bit pricey for the samplings but such a lovely spot with all the wild flowers in bloom. Very nice wines and excellent descriptions were given of each one. Everyone was kind and friendly. The only thing that cut into our enjoyment of the experience was that our host was trying to upsell every little thing... We simply wanted to have a couple of glasses of wine and buy a bottle and relax a little bit... but the whole thing felt like one big sales pitch. If she had had her way we would've bought a case of wine, an annual wine membership, a special purse to carry our wine in, several jars of jam and crackers, all in addition to the bottle of wine and the glasses of wine that we originally intended to have. It did cut into our enjoyment and ability to relax and chill out while we were there.

Recently attended a wedding here. Beautiful location with a very friendly staff and excellent food. We had some bad weather blow in and made sure we were all taken care of and stayed dry! Awesome team they have there

We tried this Vineyard on a small vacation at a nearby resort. We had an excellent time and Jean was a very fun host! The wines were very tasty and she explained the different grapes to us. Please don't skip out on the Sangria!! Amazing! We would definitely go back for the tour of the Vineyard, since it's closed during the week. All and all it was a great experience.

This was my first time visiting a vineyard and I had an outstanding time! Larry was a great host and highly recommend doing the tour. Certainly enjoyed the wines that we tried and walked out with three bottles. Not a huge wine drinker so won't comment on the taste, but highly recommend this place due to the outstanding service they gave us.
