If you truly want to experience and understand the wines of Ghemme than this is a must stop. Antonello, who has a personality that is perhaps as big and robust as the wines he produces, and his son Luigi were my convivial hosts for a cellar tour and tasting. I did not get a chance to visit the vineyards but we discussed the block where the bulk of their production comes from (one specific site in Ghemme instead of multiple vineyards across the DOC). These terrior driven wines are hand crafted in a traditional manner with passion! Fairly priced, beautifully made and lovingly presented I truly enjoyed my visit and hope to return again. Bravo Rovellotti!
