Amazing winery and farmhouse. It is really beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The hotel is built in stone house, which is originally since medieval period. Location is good, not far away from Arezzo city center.

Unbelievable place! Wonderful family running the place. Great apartments and a really, really good breakfast. and that's before I start talking about the wines. But I will not. You'll just have to go there and sample their Chianti!

Magnificent and relaxing!

We recently visited this charming and delightfully staffed vineyard on a bus trip from Florence. The wines themselves were quite good and reasonably priced but the White Boar sausage was out of this world. The tasting staff provided a genuinely friendly experience which forces you to smile happily. A dramatic contrast to the Snobbery so prevalent in Napa

How many wonderful things can I saw about Valdonica? Rooms- My husband and I slept comfortably in wonderfully plush blankets and pillows. Valdonica loves local and green- the walls are made of recycled wine barrels, all their foods and products are bought from local sellers, and everything is solar powered. Because we visited during the off season, we stayed in one of the rooms of the main building (as opposed to the villas closer to the vineyards) and were the only ones there for the 2 nights we stayed. The main building houses the manager's office, kitchen, and winery in addition to the rooms. Manager- A wonderful man whose company my husband and I enjoyed very much during our stay! He is not just helpful and informative, we felt like we made a new friend (story-telling + tours + wine = new best friend, pretty much). We learned a lot about the winery, the local villages and nearby restaurants from him as well. Amenities- Free breakfast was delicious. I especially enjoyed the different jams and honey they make at Valdonica (they sell these there as well). Bathrooms include hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, soap, bathrobe, bath slippers, towels. I will note that the free wifi worked best in the kitchen/dining area and not as well in the bedroom but who needs wifi in the bedroom during your honeymoon....amiright? Sehr schönes Ressort im Hinterland der Toskana. Perfekt um ein paar ruhige Tage mit der Familie oder Freunden zu verbringen. Einmal in der Woche wird für 39,- ein Dinner mit Weinbegleitung angeboten, welches vom Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis definitiv das beste war, dass wir in der Toskana erleben durften. Leider ist der Pool über einen Kilometer vom Anwesen entfernt, ansonsten gibt es aber wirklich nichts auszusetzen.
