We attended a wedding at The Goldie...
We attended a wedding at The Goldie Room and loved it so much we chose the venue for our own recent wedding in January 2015!! I have been to a number of weddings (10+) both in New Zealand and overseas and must say The Goldie Room is outstanding on every front - excellent food, high quality wine, several fun activities for between the ceremony and reception, and friendly and competent staff (both the wedding planners Charlotte and Kelsey and the service staff on the night). But the massive highlight of course is the amazing natural beauty of the venue, which really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. The property has a relaxed, rustic, and natural charm which typifies everything great about New Zealand. It has some spectacular scenery including the private beach, native bush and wild flowers, vines on rolling hills, quaint sheds and cellar door, and above all the pohutakawa tree on the hill with views on either side. Planning the wedding was easy as Charlotte is experienced with the venue and was very helpful throughout. Goldie is also great to visit for a casual lunch or wine tasting and we'll no doubt be back many times to visit.

En el vino está la verdad
Si pasan por la zona de Bertinoro, no olviden hacer una parada en la finca Cà Rossa.
Este lugar encantador te transporta a los sabores del pasado.
En los propietarios se encuentra toda la amabilidad y hospitalidad de la Romaña, acompañadas de excelentes vinos con catas inolvidables...
Volveremos pronto a visitaros, felices de pasar unos momentos espléndidos con vosotros.

¡Vino divino!
Fuimos de paseo un sábado por la tarde por las colinas de Romaña y paramos en la Fattoria Ca' Rossa (que, por cierto, está en una posición panorámica... se ve hasta el mar).
Probamos varios vinos, debo decir que todos excelentes y con "carácter", ¡¡¡el tinto riserva llamado Ripagrande es realmente magnífico!!!
Y el Albana passito llamado AAA es una delicia...

Bodega preciosa, acogedora desde los aromas que la envuelven. Los blancos, degustados muy fríos, son una delicia para el paladar. Y después, ¿cómo renunciar, una vez probado, al 'vino cotto' para terminar la comida?

Great little cottage with open fire and big stack of firewood. Outside spa, complimentary bottle of wine and breakfast free range eggs. Beautiful, peaceful setting. Management very obliging and helpful. Highly recommended
