Great tasting experience in the cave. Both of the tour guides in two trips were very knowledgeable.

My wife and I stopped here to make a reservation for the following day since we were driving by anyway. Steve greeted us and allowed us to do a tasting even though we hadn't made a reservation. He was a fantastic taste guide, was very knowledgeable of their wines/winemaking process and even poured a few wines for us in addition to our tasting. When it was all said and done, we had tasted several wines and were even treated to a spontaneous tour of the cave w/ barrel tasting. It was an incredible experience for us, and we will be back. The wines are also fantastic--great Cabs here--and well worth their prices (which, despite a couple reviews here, are actually fairly reasonable for the quality product they put out). We're kicking around joining futures club; it's between Del Dotto and one other vineyard we liked a lot.

Love this place and their wines. Can't speak highly enough about a bottle of Whitesnake wine that I just cannot bring myself to drink because no situation has warranted such a lovely bottle of wine.! On this trip I picked up some zin and suspect it will take a few years of hoarding before I can bring myself to drink them too. Just too good of wine for us Michigan folks! I simply cannot part with it.

Great wine! Great atmosphere! Extremely friendly staff! They even helped entertain our 4 year old so we could enjoy our tasting!
