We have been going to Cellardoor Winery for the past four years. We enjoy visiting both locations – Rockport, Maine and Lincolnville, Maine. The events, wines and employees are incredible. Both locations are nice but Lincolnville is a must. If you haven’t been to an event at Cellardoor you have to go!

Not very friendly... at all. And not exactly conveniently located, either. Don't expect to see me again. Too many other options.

Such a cool winery with incredibly dedicated winemakers. Karen brings a passion to Colorado wine making that I can only hope is as infectious on her peers as it is on me. I enjoy attending the Colorado Mountain Winefest ever year or two and there is no question in my mind that the very best wines in Colorado over the past 5 years (that I've been keeping track) at least are consistently coming from Stone Cottage Cellars. This couple has no sense of urgency in their process and apparently no mind for cutting costs because the time and effort and quality of wine making materials that go into their wines cannot be an aid to their bottom line. But the product in their Gerwurtztraminer, Syrah, and now the 2011 Merlot that I am drinking is undeniable. I am often of the mind that Colorado wines are still at least $5 dollars more expensive than their quality demands but with Stone Cottage Cellars I really do feel that I am getting the value of every penny spent! Please try the three varietals that I mentioned here. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful wines. Make this a priority stop on your tour of local wineries. Young winery with incredible potential.

Nice higher end winery experience. Great for special occasions but call ahead for groups 8 or more. Enjoyed the whites especially. Reds were a bit young- think they will improve in the next 2 years.

I stay here every thanksgiving with my family. They cater breakfast to your needs, baking separate vegetarian and gluten free soufles for my difficult family (half celiac half vegetarian). Their rooms are large, airy, and clean, looking out onto vineyards. Each room has moderately priced wine stocked, so you can open a bottle with a friend and sip it looking over the vineyard. The driveway can be a little difficult to spot, so you're better off looking for the vineyard itself. Also, this hidden gem has just begun to be widely known, so book early!

Great wines at a very reasonable price. I especially liked the Cab Sauv and Merlot. The woman pouring wine was a delight, though I failed to catch her name.

Very nice tasting room and estate. Wine is above average for the area.
