We were driving by on our way...
We were driving by on our way to our hotel, we saw a BIG sign on the road (St. Helena Highway) that said Tastings, OPEN. So we stopped in and parked by the tasting room. When we walked in the door, the gentlemen behind the bar said sorry but we only do tasting by appointment. And today we are only doing library tastings, and these are not for you. Very sad news. So if you see that they are OPEN, beware, they may not be open for YOU.

I love this vineyard, the wine is...
I love this vineyard, the wine is delicious - the Cab Franc is one of my favorites! The staff is always friendly and provides fun little nuggets of information.

We stopped by here because I was...
We stopped by here because I was familiar with their Sauvignon Blanc. Well the place seemed way too ready to push me right through for my taste. not really a place where my friends nor I felt welcome. That with the purchase of two bottle the tasting was free. Sadly this was my biggest motivation to buy. I am not saying their wines were not good. They were fine. Nothing lit my fire however the Sauvignon Blanc to me is their high point..

This winery offered 5 wines for $20...
This winery offered 5 wines for $20 and waved the tasting fee for the purchase of two bottles — which is disappointing (although my husband and I did buy two bottles of Sauvignon Blanc). The staff here were *extremely* friendly, which was one of the things that prompted our purchase. One of the neatest features here was vials of soil for all the land where their grapes grow. Definitely worth stopping by.

What a wonderful stop- the wine is...
What a wonderful stop- the wine is fantastic! My wife and I brought our 7-month son with us. Not recommended (and certainly no other babies there), but the staff was wonderful and very accommodating. They even comped our wine tasting when they heard I was in the military. Thank you!

Bottle Shock is one of my favorite...
Bottle Shock is one of my favorite movies I've seen over 40 times! Luv it! Would love to meet Bo and have dinner with his wines! My husband is a gourmet, as a wonderful hobby, would luv to cook for him! I will visit he winery in my lifetime!
