Ferreri & Bianco was founded in 2003 by its partners, after years of experimentation and research. From the very beginning, the winery’s philosophy has been clear: to enhance Sicily’s native grape varieties and cultivate exclusively indigenous vines, with an unwavering focus on quality in every wine. Each bottle signed Ferreri embodies an authentic experience: those who taste it will find the distinctive aromas and flavours of the land, the result of passion, careful winemaking and the selection of excellent raw materials.
The winery is located in western Sicily, in the province of Trapani, between the towns of Santa Ninfa and Gibellina. It rises on the hills that stretch between the Archaeological Parks of Selinunte and Segesta—an area rich in history and culture, also ideal for nature walks in the Monte Finestrelle Reserve and around Lake Delia, or for water sports along Sicily’s characteristic beaches. All these destinations can be reached within a few minutes by car.
The estate covers 50 hectares: 10 dedicated to olive groves and 40 to vineyards. The soils—clay, sand and limestone—lie between 200 and 500 metres (650–1,500 feet) above sea level, and the grapes are harvested exclusively by hand to preserve the bunches and select only the finest fruit.

After a long period in which Catarratto was blended with other varieties, Ferreri & Bianco was the first to vinify it in purity. Also, Nero d’Avola, which was traditionally mainly used as a blending grape, was also vinified in purity. These two grapes became the flagship wines with which the winery began its journey.
Over the years, the winery has chosen to focus on other varieties historically rooted in western Sicily: Pignatello, Frappato, and Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds, and Grillo, Zibibbo, and Inzolia for the whites. The range later expanded to include an Italian Spumante made from Catarratto Extralucido, a Zibibbo Passito (dessert wine), and a selection of wines aged in small wooden barrels. Our constant commitment to quality has earned us multiple national and international awards.
Through its tastings, Ferreri & Bianco offers guests a true sensory journey: wines of the territory paired with local specialties and accompanied by our extra virgin olive oil, produced from the renowned Nocellara of Belice variety. An engaging experience that reveals the flavour and identity of Sicily.
