When the Reclus family moved to Château Pichon Bellevue in 1880, they cultivated 2 hectares of land in polyculture.

Since that time, the estate has continued to evolve to adapt to commercial and technological developments: it is natural that from the sale of wine in barrels on the Place de Bordeaux, the family turned in 1982 to bottling directly at the château.

Today, Laurent continues the work of his parents, Christiane and Daniel Reclus, paying particular attention to caring for the 50 hectares of vines in the tradition and family values, while bringing a touch of modernity.

Its work philosophy has always been oriented towards preventive rather than curative reasoning, which makes it possible to apply “reasoned” agriculture based on the constant monitoring of rainfall.

Regularly quoted and awarded medals, Château Pichon Bellevue's wines are the result of a long and careful vinification, based on temperature control. Both in the vineyards and in the cellar, the family know-how is used to obtain well-balanced, robust wines, whose finesse and fruitiness are characteristic of the appellation.

From the red aged in vats to that aged in oak barrels, passing through the dry or mellow white without forgetting the rosé and the Crémant de Bordeaux… Each one is born of special attention in order to satisfy as many palates as possible.
