Wonderful way to spend the afternoon!

My family and I had a wonderful time visiting Vigne Di Raito. We had an amazing little picnic with the red wine. It is rare to find a winery with views of the sea. The little tables set up under the pergola were absolutely adorable. We also really appreciated that this winery is a small business and the wines are all organic. We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!!

Very interesting tour in a more than beautifull environment. The guide was a pleasure to listen to, knew a lot of interesting facts about the city also. The tour was very learnfull, the food and wines were absolutly delicious. Absolutly worth a visit.

Wonderful afternoon!

We had a fantastic time during our vineyard picnic! Alfonso was so friendly and gave us a great intro about the vineyard and the wines. The snacks in the picnic basket and the rosé wine were delicious, and the views were incredible. They told us we could stay as long as we’d like, so there was no rush. This was such a special experience and I definitely recommend booking a visit if you’re in the area!

Fantastic evening

We couldn’t have been more enthused and inspired on our way home from our tour of Le Vigne di Raito with Alfonso. Alfonso is an incredibly passionate, very charismatic guide who showed us the story of their wines with such detail. The wine itself was delicious, the rosé in particular we had never tasted anything like - we bought as many bottles as we could fit in our luggage! The food too was an excellent surprise, we weren’t expecting such a delightful experience of VERY local food - nothing we were served came any further than a few miles. Some of the best produce we’ve tasted. Of course, being on the Amalfi coast you would expect spectacular views, they never disappoint, perhaps some of our best photos of our whole honeymoon!
So happy we found Le vigne di Raito, we will continue to follow its journey and hopefully revisit in the future.
Maybe give Alfonso a pay rise?!
(He made no hints or complaints to this!! He clearly LOVES his job, we just thought he was a brilliant guide, great guy)

Splendida esperienza alle Vigne di Raito

Siamo stati accolti con perfetta puntualità da Alfonso che ci ha guidato nel tour della limonaia e della cantina, illustrandoci i procedimenti per la lavorazione del vino, dalla scelta dei vitigni alla creazione dell'etichetta. Andando oltre quanto previsto, ci ha spiegato la storia suggestiva e le tradizioni di quest'angolo del golfo di Salerno e ci ha mostrato le piante e le spezie che crescono qui. La signora Patrizia ha preparato per noi una squisita torta di compleanno e tutte le persone che lavorano nelle Vigne sono state cordiali e prodighe di spiegazioni. E il resto? Beh, il panorama è suggestivo con mare e cielo che si incontrano all'orizzonte, il cibo divino, preparato in loco con prodotti genuini, e il vino... degli dei. Consigliatissimo!

Knowledgable, funny and great lunch

We went as a very small group (just 2 of us) and no other groups joined us.
Our guide (Alfonso) was extremely knowledgeable but delivered his wisdom with the right level of humour, while answering questions effectively. His knowledge even extended to the history of the area and the vineyard, and some of the cultural issues around owning and operating the business.
The lunch was also very good, with some great wine and the right level of guidance while tasting. It was nice not to be pushed to purchase some bottles also, while we could sit and enjoy our surroundings at the end of our meal.
If possible, offer a shuttle to / from the vineyard.
Offer a pricelist or suggestion of where the wine could be purchased should someone wish to.

Esperienza sorprendentemente positiva.prenotazione veloce e sicura.Da consigliare vivamente,posto unico e suggestivo,vino di ottima qualita,personale cortese e gentilissimo,da vegano non ho avuto nessuna difficoltà a pranzare,ho gustato piatti non banali,colori e gusto erano in armonia con lo splendido panorama che fa da sfondo alla bellissima Raito.esperienza da ripetere sicuramente

Sobre la bodega y los vinos

Le Vigne di Raito winery is located in the Raito neighborhood of Vietri sul Mare, on the Amalfi Coast. Close to Salerno city, the town is world-famed for its ceramics manufacture. The organic-certified vineyard is immersed in the typical Mediterranean vegetation, its luxuriant sun-swathed seabound terraces were safeguarded by farmers and seafarers since time immemorial.

We do our best to provide our visitors with the most thorough and authentic cultural experience of being on an Italian working vineyard, learning about wine & food and the local traditions & folklore.

Our red RAGIS is produced from Aglianico grapes which are vinified separately in stainless steel fermentation vessels where they macerate for over 15 days under controlled temperature. Intense and vivid ruby-red color; the bouquet and flavor have hints of flowers, Mediterranean vegetation, sour cherries, licorice and cocoa. It is a full-bodied wine with character butbalanced on the palate, where it dominates the great structure of Aglianico giving it drinkability, goodaging capacity and aromatic evolution. The organic farming and native-yeast fermentation give it interesting variability over the vintages.

Our dry rosé VITAMENIA has great personality and character, it is produced from Piedirosso grapes which are vinified separately in stainless steel fermentation vessels. Vivid coral-red color; the bouquet and flavor have crispy hints of citrus fruits, tangy berries, and a great minerality. It is a versatile, dry, non-sparkling, non-diluted rosé designed for hot days, with great drinkability, and some aging capacity. The organic farming gives it interesting variability over the vintages.
