Fantastic wine tasting.in Luras

We had a fantastic wine tasting experience with Laura at her beautiful vinyard in Luras. We were the only ones and the first of the seizon. Laura is a very nice eldery lady who enjoys talking about the history of the estate en her wine making. We had a very nice Italian food platter. If you make a reservation for the wine tasting do add the food platter, it is delicious. The estate is more or less in the middle of nowhere and a bit difficult to find.
We had a great time.
Signs next the road to give directions to the vinyard.

We had a lovely afternoon at Muscazega. We've tasted 3 really good wines, white, rose, red. Vermentino and nebbiolo. Nice platters with yummy finger food. Amazing views and very quiet surroundings. Laura, the owner, entertained us with stories about the winery and Sardinia. Very nice lady! We had a short walk around the vineyard too.
One thing to note is that is not a group thing, it's just you and the owner.
- make sure you get the correct address from the host
- don't stop your navigation half way. There are many areas with no mobile data coverage and it might get difficult to search the address again when you have no internet nor signal to make calls.

Sobre la bodega y los vinos

Enclavada en la región de Gallura, en Cerdeña, la histórica finca de Muscazega ocupa unas 100 hectáreas, rodeada de arroyos y con ruinas de la época romana como Ponte Nughes. Apasionada por Cerdeña, la propietaria Laura Carmina transformó la finca en una bodega de renombre. Este paisaje, rico en belleza natural, alberga olivos centenarios y flora autóctona, donde prosperan las uvas Nebbiolo y Vermentino. Muscazega encarna el espíritu único de Cerdeña, produciendo vinos que reflejan el patrimonio y el impresionante entorno de la región.

Muscazega está especializada en vinos monovarietales, como el Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG y el Nebbiolo IGT. Las uvas Nebbiolo, traídas del Piamonte hace 200 años, florecen en el suelo rico en granito de Gallura, produciendo vinos vibrantes y expresivos como el NUGHES Vermentino, el Muscazega Nebbiolo Rosato y el LUNAS Nebbiolo envejecido en barrica. El Vermentino es mundialmente célebre por su pureza, mientras que el Nebbiolo ofrece una expresión sarda única de este varietal clásico.
