The visit begins at the Urdaibai Viewpoint, where you will enjoy a panoramic outlook over the reserve while learning about its historical, cultural, and environmental significance. You will then continue with a visit to the estate’s terroir, discovering the unique natural conditions that shape Berroja’s vineyards and give Txakoli its distinctive character. The experience proceeds with a guided tour of the winery, where you will explore the full Txakoli production process, from vineyard practices to vinification and bottling.
The visit concludes with a guided Txakoli tasting, paired with carefully selected local products that highlight the gastronomic heritage of the Basque Country:
- Anchovies in brine from Bermeo
- Tuna belly in olive oil from Bermeo
- Idiazabal cheese from Maumas (Muxika)
- Traditional farmhouse bread baked in a wood-fired oven (Ajangiz)
- Lemon sorbet with Txakoli (Berroja)
