We are ready to welcome you to Cantina del Malandrino, the fascinating Etna territory, to taste our natural wine from volcanic soils!
We will meet in the ancient "PALMENTO", the traditional building where more than 100 years ago farmers brought the grapes to transform them into wine. You will be welcomed with a short tour of the rooms, which will introduce you to the "secrets" of this unique lava stone construction, the ingenious engineering of the past, and our choice for sustainable restoration. For a more complete dive into the world of Cantina del Malandrino, you can choose to complete your experience with a tour of the cellar and vineyard.
At the end of the tour, depending on your preference, you can stop in the lounge or on the outdoor terrace to fill your glasses. The wine tasting experience includes at least three different wines, but based on the seasons and the processing periods you'll have the opportunity to taste some experiments and/or barrel tests. The tasting experience is always accompanied by a small chopping board with local olives, cold cuts, and cheeses.
For a richer experience, you can choose to pair the wines with a light meal consisting of delicacies like cheese, cold cuts, olives, preserves, croquettes or vegetable fritters, breadsticks and taralli.
During the experience you will be pleasantly entertained by technical and less technical chats about wine, and about the Etna world which becomes a specific character. For us at Cantina del Malandrino is always a pleasure to tell about our dreams and how this land has welcomed us. We are an agricultural company on Etna, in a rural area, ask for a pick up if you want.
