The Medici Ermete Estate is located in the heart of the production area of Lambrusco Reggiano DOC, in the valley of the Enza river, where the land is mostly gravel and particularly suitable for the production of selected grapes.

The building is a typical farmhouse of the eighteenth century surrounded by nature.
Your visit will start in the vineyards, impressing yourself by learning about the ancients ways of making Lambrusco at the wine museum, and then entering the magical vinegar factory. The Medici Ermete Estate produces the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia known and loved all over the world for its preciousness. You will enter the half-light of the attics and immerse yourself in a place characterized by barrels where the process of maturation, refinement and aging of our Traditional Vinegar takes place slowly. The aging of the vinegar lasts the time of one generation (minimum 12 years) and takes place in “batteries”, a combination of different barrels made of different woods that give the vinegar its unique aromas, flavors and scents.
The traditional balsamic vinegar from Reggio Emilia is an authentic elixir that is able to enrich the food taste.

At the end of the visit, you will head to the Tasting Room. You will taste 3 of the best wines and the 3 labels of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia of the estate with some typical appetizers! If you would like there will be the possibility to buy the Medici Ermete products.
